Cornell graduate students whose expertise includes feminist, gender, and sexuality studies are encouraged to apply for the FGSS First Year Writing Seminar and/or the FGSS Teaching Assistantships.
FIRST-YEAR WRITING SEMINAR (FWS) TEACHING ASSISTANTSHIPS
The FGSS First-Year Writing Seminar TA will be offered to two selected graduate students each fall at Cornell for demonstrated excellence in teaching. Graduate students will teach one section of FWS, listed under FGSS, and will select the focus of the section.

FGSS TEACHING ASSISTANTSHIPS
FGSS has a few teaching assistantships available each year and is particularly interested in graduate students at Cornell who would benefit from working with our faculty and serving as a TA in our core curriculum introductory classes in the fall and spring.

Qualified graduate students may apply to both positions. The TA positions will include tuition and a stipend, equivalent to the current teaching assistantship stipends.
